Let Us Help

In an emergency, call 911 or go to your local emergency room. TCM Counseling does not provide emergency services.

No One is Ever Turned Away

TCM Counseling provides accessible and affordable counseling services along the lakeshore. You’ll be assigned a therapist, and payment options are discussed. TCM has provided professional therapy services for over 40 years, and has offices in both Grand Haven and Holland. We are eager to help you!

Getting Started

Call us at 616.842.9160 to schedule a confidential intake session. This face-to-face meeting allows you to talk about the assistance you need, and your preference for a therapist (such as male or female, issue expertise, and any insurance you might have.) At this time, a short intake form is completed and a co-pay (that you can afford) is determined.

Initially, eight (8) sessions are typically planned, and based on your presenting issue. This intake session will conclude with a therapist referral, along with access to other information about additional services which may help you. Your first therapist appointment is scheduled as soon as possible; future appointments are scheduled between you and your therapist. Daytime and evening appointments are available to make getting help as easy as possible.

TCM Counseling has a panel of 50+ therapists, all of whom are in private practice and each have special areas of expertise. This gives TCM the ability to schedule you with the right therapist who understands your presenting issue, and quickly.

Individual Counseling: TCMʼs panel of specialists provide therapy to 100ʼs of children, teens, adults, couples, and entire families each day.

Group Counseling: Please see below the counseling support group schedule for a list of available meetings that are offered for specific needs on an ongoing basis.

Employee Assistance Program: TCM provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to area businesses, where employees and their dependents can access therapy immediately, and without a fee for the counseling sessions. Please call TCM at 616.842.9160 or email Ann Baarman at ann@tcmcounseling.org for more information.
